Verify the archive

The canonical archive is plain-text files with an append-only, hash-chained event log. You do not have to trust this website: the log proves the promises: numbers never reused, testimonies never altered, withdrawals recorded. The log contains only fingerprints, never words.

Hashing rules are specified in schema/CANONICAL.md so the verifier (tools/verify.py, standard library only) can be reimplemented in any language, in any decade.

The chain is also anchored beyond the institution's hands: tools/checkpoint.py freezes the log tip into checkpoints/, dated by the public repository's history and, via OpenTimestamps, attested in Bitcoin, so history rewritten after an anchor was published fails verification against the public record, no matter who rewrote it.

Current log tip (1 event, 1 checkpoint anchored): 378ba3b55aa1099c91cb87eb8db61d310e90b6c29e6d0b332482da0f60345f5b
